Gradience Productions

Gradience (Gradients of Colour, Radiance of All) was founded in 2020 as a space for artistic expression, amplifying the stories of BIPOC individuals. Beginning as a virtual event platform during the pandemic, Gradience hosted online gatherings for artists and collaborated with initiatives such as Black Girl Initiative at Concordia University and Grayson Music, producing holistic events like meditation series and sound bath explorations, while raising funds for local charities including MyStand and Red Door Shelter.

Gradience also partnered with American artisan Paper Papayas to launch the Gradience Collection, exploring gradients of skin tones. The collection sold out in under an hour. Today, Gradience has evolved into a full-fledged production space, telling stories through film, poetry, and community-driven projects.

Emotional Baggage

A short film written, directed, and produced by Courtenay Field. The story follows a young woman overwhelmed by expectations, who transforms into a bag lady. Currently in post-production, the film is preparing for festival submissions and digital release.

Student of Nature

A collection of poetry that explores the full spectrum of life through an elemental lens. As I journey my way through this world, nature has remained my constant guide, moving in sacred time. These poems reflect an evolution: of years, of seasons, of a deepening relationship with the earth.
